When you bring an instrument in for repair or consignment, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and details about your instrument and repair or consignment. If you complete a purchase or consignment sale with us, we also collect the payment/payout information needed to complete that transaction.
We use your information to provide repair and consignment services, to contact you about the status of your repair or consignment, and to process payments. We contact customers by email, and by text message only if you have given consent as described below.
We only send text messages to customers who have verbally agreed to receive them when they drop off an item at our shop. Text messages are limited to updates about your repair status - typically no more than 1-2 messages per repair. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is never required to use our repair or consignment services.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us, or reply HELP for help.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate - for example, our text messaging provider (Twilio) and email provider (SendGrid) - and only as needed to provide our services to you.
We retain your information as part of our normal business records for repairs and consignments.
