Effective September 11, 2026
Gold Tone Workshop provides musical instrument repair and consignment services.
We will provide an estimate before beginning repair work where practical. A deposit may be required for certain repairs. Items not picked up within a reasonable time after we've notified you the repair is complete may be considered abandoned under applicable law.
Items accepted on consignment are also governed by a separate consignment agreement signed at intake, which sets out the agreed pricing and split for that specific item. These Terms of Service apply in addition to, not in place of, that agreement.
Payment terms will be communicated to you at the time of service.
We may contact you by email, and by text message if you've given consent, about the status of your repair or consignment. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We take reasonable care with every item in our possession. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions or damage discovered during diagnostic or repair work, or for issues that are a normal, disclosed risk of the repair being performed.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
